ABOUT US
Andrea Perrett-Fahey
My name is Andrea Perrett-Fahey and I'm 18 and live in Terang, 30 minutes east of Deakin University's Warrnambool Campus. I currently am working full time as the manager of the Terang Bakery as well as play social mixed netball and competitive badminton. I wish to complete the associate degree as well as a commerce degree and become a qualified accountant and human recourse manager. E-Literacy has benefited myself as it has shown me how to use the resources Deakin University provides.
Courtney Hoy
My Name is Courtney Hoy, I am 18 and I live in Warrnambool. I work casually for Gateway Plaza doing Marketing and promotions. I hope to follow my Associate degree with a commerce degree and later in life work in marketing and pursue my own business. E-literacy has taught me how to enhance my computer skills and use these skills to the best of my ability whilst I am studying at University
Denise Kelly-Merrifield
My name is Denise. I chose to do the Associate Degree as a pathway into a Bachelor of Education. I currently work at a primary school, where I have found a love for lifelong learning and a passion to help others. I am enjoying studying again after many years. E-Literacy has taught me the importance of referencing and the correct way to do it, and how to use technology in a supportive and helpful environment.
Ebony Mott
I am using the associate degree as a pathway into primary school teaching. In e-Literacy I have learnt many new skills on the computer that will help me to continue my education such as using excel.
Sarah Enderby
I'm living in Warrnambool during the week and regularly go back home on the weekends to Hamilton. In Hamilton, I am committed to leading the youth group at the Presbyterian Church. I love working with young children of all ages, but especially primary aged kids. My other passion is for cooking, which I've enjoyed doing since a young age and recently completed my Cert III in Hospitality. This course will hopefully lead me into primary education. E-literacy is aiming to teach students how to use the Deakin website as well as many other computer skills to benefit out studying. It has been greatly beneficial learning these skills and will be very helpful in the future!
